Heaven

Because I believe the bible is the infallible word of God, delivered to man by the Holy Spirit, I can say with all certainty that Genesis 1:1 is true and factual that God created the Heaven and the Earth.

Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Then the bible say in Genesis 1:27 that he made man in his own image both male and female.

Gen 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Now that we have established that God is the creator of all things lets focus on Heaven

From a biblical perspective, "proof" of heaven isn't empirical evidence but is found in Jesus Christ's resurrection, His promises of preparing a place for believers (John 14:2-3), and descriptions of heaven as God's dwelling place and a future eternal home, requiring faith in Christ as the way to get there, not worldly proof. Key scriptural points include Jesus conquering death, the promise of eternal life for believers, descriptions of a glorious New Jerusalem (Revelation 21), and the hope of a new heaven and earth, all pointing to heaven as a real, albeit spiritual, destination.

Key Biblical Arguments for Heaven

•Jesus's Resurrection & Ascension: Jesus's death and return to life, followed by His ascension, serves as the ultimate proof that death can be overcome and that heaven is real, as He went to prepare a place for us.

•Christ's Promises: Jesus frequently spoke of heaven, promising eternal life and a place in His Father's house for those who believe in Him (John 14:2-3, John 11:25).

John 14:2-3  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

John 11:25  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

•God's Dwelling Place: The Bible describes heaven as God's dwelling place, a holy realm where angels and redeemed saints reside (Matthew 6:9, Hebrews 12:22, Revelation 4-5).

Matthew 6:9  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Hebrews 12:22  But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels

•A Future, Real Place: Scripture uses concrete terms like a city with golden streets (New Jerusalem in Revelation 21) and a "better country" (Hebrews 11:16) to describe a tangible, perfected future reality, not just an abstract concept.

Hebrews11:16  But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

•The Believer's Hope: For Christians, heaven is an inheritance and citizenship, a place of everlasting joy with Christ, accessed through faith in Him (Philippians 1:21-23, 1 Peter 1:3-5).

Philippians 1:21-23  For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.  But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot (to know) not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better

1Peter 1:3-5  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

How to "Know" Heaven (Biblical View)

•Faith, Not Sight: The Bible teaches that belief in Jesus and His promises, rather than physical proof or near-death experiences (which are seen as distinct from the biblical promise), is the path to heaven.

•Transformed Life: Living for Christ, laying up treasures in heaven, and following Him daily are the actions that align one with this heavenly hope.
